“A Tango to Remember” is a short film drama about a wife whose husband suffers from Alzheimer’s. One fall afternoon, she takes him in his wheelchair to a pier in Jersey City where they first met and danced. She recalls moments of their youth when they were young and very much in love. Can music and dance bring her husband´s memory back? Alzheimer’s is the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. and one in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or some other form of dementia. In recent years, music and dance therapy have effectively been used for patients suffering from all forms of dementia.
